It's The Same Old Song

Music is something that can inspire. But peopel who make it also get inspired by this. Sometimes this leads to a cover, a sample used in another song or in the wordt case plagiarism. Hiphop is known for it's sampling from mostly soul and funk, but also jazz and a lot of other styles. But a lot of other gengres in music do the same, or use the same chord progression with a different melody... or the same melody. Then there are the cover songs, the same song by a different artist. These can be close to similar but also have big differences. Most people dont know how much singles recorded right now are based on other tracks and thats also a reason why i started this blog, just to show it. Besides that, i also like to look up these things and sort of 'collect' the music and similarities. Just to name a few: Elvis Presley, UB40, Coldplay, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Beyonce, The Offspring, Greenday, Whitney Housten, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Roby Williams, Def Lapperd, Queen, Kanye West, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguillera, Atomic Kitten, Sugababes, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas. Bryan Adams, Sean Paul en Sean Kingston, Gorrilaz, Prodigy, Daft Punk et cetera, et cetara... All Artist doing covers, sampling or being covered and sampled.
